I’m Jeanita Rongish, a luxury calligrapher and master engraver behind Ageless Duo Calligraphy & Engraving.

For more than four decades, I have devoted myself to the art of beautiful writing. What began as a fascination with calligraphy at thirteen grew into a lifelong pursuit of craftsmanship, eventually leading me into the world of professional engraving as well.

Today, I bring together two disciplines that have shaped my artistic life: calligraphy and engraving.

Each requires patience, precision, a trained eye, and a respect for the material being worked. Whether I am writing with a pointed pen or engraving into glass, metal, or another treasured surface, I approach the work as something meant to be cherished—not simply produced.

I create my work for people who appreciate the beauty of something made personally, thoughtfully, and by hand.

My relationship with calligraphy began when I was thirteen years old. In high school, an art teacher introduced me to the fundamentals of calligraphy, and I was immediately captivated by the discipline and beauty of the written form.

I never truly put the pen down.

Over the years, calligraphy became far more than handwriting. It became a study of letterforms, spacing, composition, rhythm, proportion, and expression.

I have created handwritten work for weddings, celebrations, memorials, certificates, family gatherings, correspondence, keepsakes, poetry, stationery, and personalized gifts.

Today, I continue to study and refine my craft because I believe mastery is never a finished destination. There is always another letterform to discover, another technique to refine, and another beautiful way to make words come alive.

That lifelong dedication continues to shape my work as a luxury calligrapher, where traditional technique meets a refined, personal approach.

My journey into engraving began decades ago when I discovered an opportunity to learn the craft of personalized engraving. I invested in the equipment, taught myself the process, and began building a business around the skill.

That decision became the beginning of more than three decades of engraving.

After thousands of commissioned pieces, I earned the title Master Engraver through the depth of experience I had developed through years of hands-on work.

I have engraved glassware, perfume bottles, jewelry, writing instruments, wedding pieces, plaques, baby keepsakes, memorial pieces, and countless other personalized treasures. Some of my work has traveled across the world.

What I love most about engraving is its permanence. A name, date, sentiment, or meaningful phrase becomes part of the object itself—turning an ordinary possession into something deeply personal.

I believe there is something extraordinary about an object created specifically for one person.

In a world of mass production, hand calligraphy and engraving offer something different: intention.

The slight movement of a hand. The character of a letter. The precision of an engraved line. The time spent choosing the right placement, proportion, and presentation.

These details are what transform personalization into artistry.

At Ageless Duo, my goal is not simply to add a name to an object. It is to create a piece that feels as though it was meant to belong to you—or to the person receiving it.

As a luxury calligrapher, I believe personalization should feel intentional, artistic, and worthy of being treasured.

A Career Built on Craftsmanship

Even after decades of experience, I continue to study.

I regularly pursue new techniques, letterforms, and artistic approaches through continuing education, calligraphy groups, workshops, and intensive study.

For me, learning is part of craftsmanship. Experience gives an artist perspective; continued study keeps that perspective growing.

Ageless Duo was created for those who appreciate the difference between something personalized and something truly personal.

My work combines traditional calligraphic artistry with the precision of engraving to create pieces with individuality, character, and lasting meaning.

Some commissions commemorate milestones. Others celebrate love, family, achievement, remembrance, or a simple moment worth preserving.

Whatever the occasion, I believe the finished piece should feel intentional from beginning to end—from the lettering and engraving to the materials, presentation, and smallest details.

Ageless Duo is also a collaboration with my husband, Gregory Rongish, a poet and quote writer whose creative work has been part of our shared artistic journey for decades.

Gregory began writing poetry and quotes in 1983 and continues to build an extensive collection of original works.

Many of his words appear throughout Ageless Duo in greeting cards, artwork, keepsakes, and other pieces where calligraphy and poetry come together.
